Providing youth with innovative opportunities and experiences to help them use sport as a vehicle for success in life
INFLUENCE & OUTREACH
We Play Sports for Life aims to be the leading organization in Ontario for athletic development, academic support and social interaction.
GUIDE & ENCOURAGE
We Play Sports For Life aims to keep dreams alive. If a child or teenager feels that their dream of making the pros is over, we want to encourage the understanding that sports does not have to end for them. There are incredible opportunities in sports that reach far beyond being an athlete - the possibilities are endless.
A NOT FOR PROFIT
FOR BOYS & GIRLS
EDUCATE & GROW
Our vision is to educate every single family in our country about the important role that sport can play in their children’s life and their own
Our mission is to provide children at high risk, access to sports and academic programs that will develop their self-esteem, and empower them to utilize skills they learn through sport, for the rest of their lives. We strive to provide youth with innovative opportunities and experiences to help them use sport as a vehicle for success in life.
To date We Play Sports for Life has has supported 12 children within our community; providing at risk children funding who could not afford sports registration, equipment, and education without assistance.
A mother in our community was barely able to support her family, let alone the cost of lacrosse for her talented son. Her son's dedication and skills were there —he would wake up at 4:30 am and take the bus to the training and education he needed to meet his goals — but the money was not. We Play Sports for Life helped bridge the financial gap that was holding this young athlete back and now he is on a NCAA Division One Lacrosse scholarship, thanks to generous donations by individuals and business like you!
